Since its establishment in 1999 our association was able to experience increasing acknowledgment by its manifold social and cultural project work, mainly for the benefit of young, socially deprived and immigrant people. Frequently, we work around the improvement of communication with means of dance, music and painting (for example: “Integrating dance theater”, “Drumming against violence”, “Frida-Kahlo-Project”. A plan of special importance is the realization of another German-Israeli youth exchange (the first one was realized in 2008). „Neue Wege-Miteinander“is firmly involved in the Integration Network of the Saalekreis region and is member of the Local Action Plan (LAP) for democracy and tolerance since 2011. In recognition of the ongoing efforts of Neue Wege – Miteinander, our association has been nominated by Dr. Sulek – Officer for Integration in the Saalekreis region – for the Integration Award of Saxony-Anhalt (category voluntary work) in 2011.

Association Board Member Gudrun Woitke is aware that it needs a lot of energy and power, visions and ideas, excellent coworkers and last but not least significant financial resources to realize the demanding objectives. That’s why all association members, coworkers and peers deserve our full gratitude for all their support during the last years.
